BRIEF HISTORY OF OUR SOCIETY
Shri Shivaji
Maratha Society has been working for providing educational
opportunities & facilities to the common masses
since 1918. It was officially registered in 1921 under
the Societies Registration Act, 1860 and also under
Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950 under the able guidance
of His Highness Chhatrapati Shrimant Late Shahu Maharaj
of Kolhapur. The Society is established in Pune in
the memory of the Great Maratha Warrior King - Chhatrapati
Shivaji Maharaj who spent his childhood in & around
Pune.
Shri Shivaji
Maratha Society has made rapid strides in education
to keep pace with changing policies of Globalization
and Privatization. The educational institutes under the
umbrella of Shri Shivaji Maratha Society continuously
strive to provide infrastructural facilities to the students
while imparting high educational standards to have an
edge in the Competitive World Market. Today, the society
runs around 25 schools, colleges and hostels under its
umbrella, where more than 20,000 students are pursuing their education right from Pre-Primary to Post
- Graduate level.

the Principal's Desk Dear Students,
 Congratulations
on passing your exams. At the same time let me also
welcome you to Jedhe College. We have Arts, Commerce
and Science, B.Sc. (Micro-Biology) & Computer
Science, B. C. A. at Under Graduate level. M.Com.,
M.Sc, (Micro Biology) at Post Graduate level. The
students who opt to make career and future in either
of these faculties will be provided every opportunity
and avenue to fulfill their needs that they have
in mind. We look forward for B.Sc., (Bio-Technology)
M.C.A., M. Sc., (Computer Science).

Bahujan Sukhaay" (For the Upliftment
of the Masses) being the mission statement of the Society,
we too follow the same. We take great pleasure to announce
the completion of ladies hostel & extention of
our new building. We witness healthy growth across
all the sectors. We are proud to announce that we have
completed 25 years of the college.
The college has various value added programs and schemes
which a student can avail for the benefit of his/her
overall development as required in this fierce competitive
world.

Dear Students,
 Welcome to Jedhe College & congratulations on passing
your exams. "For the Upliftment of the Masses"being
the mission statement of the Society, all the institutes
follow the same. We are pleased to announce the completion
of Ladies Hostel & growth of new faculties like
B.Sc. (Bio-Technology), M.C.A., M.Sc., (Computer Science).
The college has various schemes & scholarships
for the students. Hostel facility is available especially
for Girl Students. Scholarships available to EBC /
PTC / STC / Ex - Serviceman, BC Scholarship, BC Freeship,
Eklavya Scholarship, Scholarship for Handicapped, Bidi
Kamgar, Economically Backward Students.
We have eminent teaching & non teaching faculty,
to mould the educational life of the students.

PROFILE OF THE COLLEGE
Our college
was founded in June 1984. 'Bahujan Hitaay Bahujan
Sukhaay' (For the Upliftment of Masses) being the mission statement
of the society, all the Institutes follow the same. All
the institutes run by the Society are engaged in the
task of providing equal opportunities to everyone in
the field of education. The college has maintained its
unique identity irrespective of financial or
academic background, with the main objective of imparting quality
professional education to all in general.

of Maharashtra and Pune University.

The aim of the
